Bought a coby tv and it's not on the list to program to the remote Does anyone know who makes coby or how to get your tv to work with the Direct TV remote?

Codes are remote control specific. Use your remote control manual (or your cable company guide) to find the code for your brand tv. If there is no code for your tv alot of times another manufacturer's code will work. You just have to be patient and try all the codes. For example, my COBY TFD1973 TV/DVD combo code is 248 the same as Audiovox.

Look on your remote control there should be a model number such as UR5U-8720L-AB, find your remote control in the lists using this number.
