What will happen when there is no media in society?

It is doubtful that would ever happen, since there have been forms of media since the time of The Bible. Books and newspapers have been around for centuries, and while they may have also moved to the online world, they are still around, as are magazines. The telegraph may be gone, but radio and television survive very nicely, as do recorded music and movies.

The names may change (the media used to be known as the "press") and the delivery systems may change (in the old days, messages were transmitted orally, then they moved to a written system, and now they can be delivered with old technology, new technology, or a combination of both); but the public continues to want to be informed and entertained, and the media will continue to provide that in one form or another.
