clean the system out as it may have sour gas in the lines or other parts of the machine. clean plug (if equipped) and put fresh gasoline and restart. Gasoline will go bad over a seaon of setting up as there may be varnish deposit in the system. If you left gas in it over the winter, the gas has turned bad. Try some carbretor cleaner and fresh fuel. If that doesn't work, you will probably need to remove the carburetor for a thourough cleaning. Other than bad gas, the spark plug may need replacing.

By Speed Square. Also pull the plug out of the engine, put the plug wire on the plug, give the cord a few yanks and look at the plug. Check for a spark. If no spark, then you will need to take it apart and pull the magneto and get a new one. A new magneto will run you around $25 to $30 for a new one and around $10 to $15 for a used one.
