Who takes the VA Sols?

The Virginia Standards of Learning (SOLs) assessments are taken by students in public schools across Virginia, typically in grades 3 through 8 and high school. These assessments measure student proficiency in core subjects such as English, mathematics, science, and history. Additionally, students in certain high school courses are required to pass specific SOL tests to earn a verified credit for graduation.
