The correct way is:

1. Wash your armpits with soap and water, rinse.

2. Dry with towel.

3. Apply roll-on or spray on to the armpit from the bottle that says 'anti-perspirant' or 'deodorant.

4. Put a clean shirt, preferably natural material like cotton. It breathes better and doesn't stink (so much).
