To remove the stereo from a 2004 Hyundai Accent, first, disconnect the negative battery cable to ensure safety. Use a plastic trim removal tool to gently pry off the trim surrounding the stereo. After removing the trim, unscrew the mounting screws securing the stereo, then carefully slide the unit out.
