How can you tell the difference between a male peacock and a female peacock?

Peacocks are the ones with the brilliant blue coloring and spread their tails (they're the ones that you think of when you hear "peacock"). Peahens are the females and they are about the same body size, but their feathers are mostly grey and black (depending on the breed also) They do not have the long tail feathers.
