Only five (5) Declared wars: 1812 (England), 1846(Mexico), 1898 (Spain), 1917(Germany), 1941 (Germany). Of the total conflicts, even the experts are not sure but in the US history there have been over 200 conflicts the US President has sent troops, aircraft or ships in support.
