What are the ways you can communicate with other people with an iPod Touch?

For fourth-generation iPods (iPod Touch), there are four ways to communicate with other people with an iPod:

1. You have the iMessage application already on your iPod when you get it that allows you to send messages, videos, and pictures to other people that have an iPod Touch.
2. The next is email, you are able to access your email account on your iPod and so email your friends.
3. You can also text people with the app Text Free. It allows you to text with your iPod to people with phones capable of texting and other people with iPods that have that app too.
4. Last, and most useful, is FaceTime. You have to have a fourth-generation because they have to have cameras. Facetime is a video calling application that lets you call people that also have an iPod (fourth generation) or another Apple product that is camera enabled, such as a Macbook.
