If there is a lifeguard ratio for the size of the pool and is there is a lifeguard to patron ratio?

Different pools and facilities may have different policies but generally there is not. As long as all areas of the pool are being watched it's good. If needed, a lifegaurd can call on an extra guard and on holidays normally there are extra just in case.
