What college degree do you need for ballistics?

There's nothing like a B.S. in mechanical engineering to open doors to opportunities in ballistics. Ballistics is applied mechanics. Big time. Even some "rocket scientists" have to be down with mechanical engineering principles. Consider that one of the disciplines is called orbital mechanics and you might see why.
