How do lemurs survive in the rainforest?

Ring-tailed lemurs do not live in rain forests. Instead, they live in deciduous forests, dry scrub, and gallery forests (forests along riverbanks). They are the most terrestrial (ground-living) of the living lemur species, so they don't spend all of their time in trees.
