What does the word easier said than done mean?

It means that it is sometimes easier to come up with ideas than it is to carry them out. If someone were to say, "Someone should just go in there and fix this corrupt government!" then it would be easier said than done. It is easy to say someone should just go do it, but way harder than they are probably imagining it will be.
