baby komodo dragons soon after hatching must make a run for it towards the trees, if they cannot make it to the trees adult komodos will eat them. they must live in trees until they are big enough to defend themselves against the adults. are a more greenish color to blend into the trees. infant komodos make up nearly 10% of the adults diet. once they get large enough(usually a few years) they get on the ground and because they are still to small to defend themselves they will roll in feces so that they are not as apealing to the older komodos. so infants are slightly grener, live in trees, and roll in poo while adults are large brown and dont ...roll in poo.
