In Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse Bella is not a vampire. Bella is a shy, clumsy human girl who moves to Forks Washinton to live with her dad after her mom got remarried. At Forks High Bella meets Edward Cullen the vampire and his Family. She finds out he is a vampire somewhere between chapters 6-11.
