Don't create drama where none should be in the first place. If you tell him you like someone else, chances are he's going to be upset and you'll be free to chase the new interest. Ask yourself what you're really wanting, but don't be unfair to the current boyfriend. If you want to go after the new guy, let the old guy go first.
