Fuel cap will not close on C240?

The issue is that the fuel cap can get misaligned so that it's in the closed position even though the cap is off. To fix this, I used two flat screwdrivers to prop up the metal tabs on each side. Then I was able to rotate the white plastic piece so it is in the "open" position. You may need two people to do this.
