How are cosmetics tested now?

Cosmetic companies have things that are smeared or sprayed onto the skin when they come up with something new the want to be sure that it does not cause any irritation or other harm to humans. So they test the product in massive amounts on animals to see how much is required to cause harm. The people that do this work have absolutely no conscience and belong to the ilk that worked on human experiments in Germany prior to and during the war and the Japanese in china at around the same time.
