How do you say alligator in Mandarin?

The Word 'alligator' is短吻鱷 (duǎn wěn è) in Mandarin Chinese. I don't think there's usually a lot of distinction between 'alligator' and 'crocodile' in Chinese, so this Word may be a little less common than鳄鱼(èyú).

短 (duǎn) - "dwahn" with a dipping tone (down then up)
