In men, at 5'6" you are considered overweight (in pounds) between 165 & 186; you are considered obese at 192 and up. Unhealthy BMIs are between 25 & 50. Of course, these numbers do not reflect your overall health. If your weight doesn't get in your way and doesn't leave you breathless just from walking to the mailbox, you are probably fine. There is, of course, no harm in losing a few pounds, only benefits. Don't let the numbers scare you, they are just that: numbers.
