Typically Hydrocodone expires one year after the fill date. It begins to lose its potency after that.

The previous person to answer this question assumed that you're a drug addict. I, however, am not as judgy, and assume that you have an old prescription and was wondering if it was viable for a new illness (as in, random migraine headache that Advil won't touch, and you found an old script from when you had your wisdom teeth taken out).
