Where is the Vin on a 1973 mustang?

Should be on the drivers side dash pad, near the very front. You should be able to see it thru the windshield. If your number isn't there (for some strange reason) it should be on the door tag. Just make sure that the door has never been replaced, or it will have the wrong numbers.
