They suffocate their prey - by wrapping their body around the animal, and tightening their grip as the animal breathes out. They swallow the animal whole - usually starting at the head - and 'walking their jaw over the animal until its at the top of the gullet. They use throat muscles to pull the prey into their stomach

left but hair. The waste is ejected from the cloaca.
