Where do outdoor rabbits live?

Wild rabbits live in burrows underground. Wild rabbits live all over the world.

Pet outdoor rabbits live in backyards and other places, but they must be kept safe. There are many dangers outside to consider (like bad weather, predators, parasites, diseases, toxic plants, pesticides and other pollution, chance of escape, etc). Pets are not wild animals: we've taken them out of their natural habitat, and bred them so they've lost many of their wild instincts, so it's neither fair nor kind to "let them be" -- we have a responsibility to keep them safe. Outdoor rabbits/bunnies can live any where as long as they're kept safe -- e.g. in the summer they are in the shade and the winter kind of keep them in the sun. Keeping them in the shade when it is hot is more important as long as you don't live in countries that gets cold in winter. Make sure that you take care of it and give it lots of love.
