Can I play blu rays discs with an Xbox?

Unfortunately, no. The only high definition video solution available for the Xbox is an external drive for playing HD-DVD discs which is no longer supported by Microsoft. The built-in DVD-Rom drive in the Xbox can only play CDs and DVDs, but is not Blu Ray capable.
