What current countries are oligarchies?

An oligarchy is a country ruled by a small group of authoritarian rulers, like a Dictatorship, but with more than one dictator. China, which is ruled by the Communist Party Politburo Standing Committee, could be considered and oligarchy. Burma/Myanmar (just which name to use is controversial, not a debate I wish to get into here) has long been run by a small group of military leaders, although there appear to be some tentative steps towards democracy being made there. A junta, a military government, often put in place by a coup, is the most common type of oligarchy in the world. Countries with a military committee for rulers were common in Latin America during the Cold War, for example.
