What should you do when your dog is on a leash and a loose dog approaches and your dog attacks the other dog badly?

If your dog starts the attack, pull your dog away with the leash and get out of there! If your dog gets injured somewhere, clean the wound so it doesn't get infected. If the stray dog gets injured, DO NOT TOUCH IT. Instead, get an adult or call animal control.
