When you buy highlights in the box with the cap how do you wash your hair do you do it with the cap on or off?

Leave the cap on until you have washed the product out of your hair. When you are confident that you have then you remove the cap. If you take the cap off first the product will get onto the hair that you didn't want to prelighten and it will also be very messy.
