How to select the auxiliary mode on a Kenwood Excelon Kdc X959 when cable is connected on the back Aux-in but is not showing as a choice with the Source button?

I think you need to completely power off, from battery, and when it reboots, it will recognize it as a source, if its hooked up and power on., as in RF input to 959.
