A nip from a Komodo dragon will almost certainly result in death from septicemia if you don't get a massive dose of antibiotics. Rotting from the inside is probably worse than dying quickly by being bitten by a black mamba. Being nibbled to death by hamsters would be unpleasant, too.

In other cases, the strongest bite from a land animal ever known would be a bull hippo. Bull hippos can grow up to 4.5 tons or 9000 lbs! The bull hippo's jaw produces over 4000 psi of bite force, and one powerful bite can even snap a 1700 pounded nile crocodile in half! Hippos have been recorded to flip boats and attack a lot more people than even bears and crocodiles!
