Are worms invertebrates or vertebrates

Worms are invertebrates, they have no spines.
They are invertebrate, they have no backbone but their many fluids in their body enable them to move around. Snakes are vertebrate however, they look the same but have a very long backbone.
It is an invertebrate because it doesn't have a backbone.
