How do you knit a knit wise?

To knit a knitwise stitch, begin by holding the needle with the cast-on stitches in your left hand and the empty needle in your right hand. Insert the right needle into the first stitch on the left needle from front to back. Wrap the working yarn around the right needle counterclockwise and pull it through the stitch, then slide the original stitch off the left needle. Repeat this process for each stitch across the row.
