How do you save animals from a sad life?

I can think of only four ways:

# Adoption -- adopting an orphan pet can change their life from something very sad into something wonderful.

# Information Inform your friends and schoolmates, colleagues, about the plight of animals. Learn about it yourself too

# Internship Most shelters and many veternarians take in non-paid interns, who get a chance to help, and to learn more about this at the same time.

# Money donations to well-respected animal charities can do wonders too.
