Satoshi Tajiri is best known as the creator of the Pokémon franchise. He developed the original Pokémon games, "Pokémon Red" and "Pokémon Green" (released as "Pokémon Blue" outside Japan) for the Game Boy. Tajiri is also credited with contributing to the development of various Pokémon titles and spin-offs throughout the years, as well as other projects at Game Freak, the company he co-founded.
