Why when you changed your monroe piercing does it sink into your lip a little bit is it because you lip is too big or because its not completely healed?

Sometimes lip and cheek piercings "nestle" into your lip. I think that its actually a good thing bc it doesnt let the jewelry rub on your teeth/gums as much. Its fine for it to sink in a bit but watch out to see if your lip grows over it and tries to swallow it. That would happen if the jewelry is too short especially if its still healing and swelling. If you're not sure whether its too short or not, just make a visit to your piercer!
