Sharon Janny den Adel (July 12,1974) is the lead singer of the dutch symphonic rock band Within Temptation. Sharon who is known for her classical soprano vocals despite never having any training but taught herself by singing to songs she liked. Before being a full-time singer Sharon worked for a fashion company and designs the clothes she and other band members wears onstage and designs the band's merchandise. Sharon who founded the band Within Temptation with partner Robert Westerholt has stated that their relationship does not affect the band or music at all. Sharon lives near Gouda in the Netherlands but has lived in 10 different countries. She has two cats named Haplo and Lola. Sharon is also known for not eating meat. Her and partner Robert have one child together named Eva Luna who was borned December 7, 2005 and was pregnant with Eva Luna during The Silent Force tour.
