Why is Jolean Wejbe leaving Big Love?

This question was also asked by "The Show Tracker" on January 9, 2010 in an interview with co-creator and executive producer Will Scheffer.

They stated that series normally do not take off and stop filming for an entire year in-between seasons. Big Love however, did. During this time,

"JoleanWejbe --- our cute little pixie --- just shot up! At the time she was 13 playing 11, she started to become tall and looked like she was turning into a 15-year-old."

So apparently Jolean was simply too tall and mature to make a believable 11 year old. Check out this web site for additional answers from that review.
