1. Start at the gear shifter and remove the plasic housing.
2. Next remove the plastic housing around radio/ ignition.
3. remove drivers side under panels (plastic housing under stearing column). Also remove the housing around the stearing column. You may have to reach back and remove two bolts that hold the stearing column at bay. (Mine had a tilt wheel that allowed enough wiggle room to remove dash guage cluster without removing these.)
4. remove screws that hold the gauge cluster. The gauge cluster should then be able to pull out about 1 or 2 inches. That should be enough room to use an angled needle nose to pinch and remove the speedometer cable from the right side (should see a black cable.) You may have to give a slight twist but be sure to depress the tab lock when grabbing with the pliers.
5. The gauge cluster should then pull out 5 to 6 inches. This is enough to disconnect the rest of the (3) cables connected at the rear. Once these are disconnected the cluster should slide right out. I recommend replacing all the bulbs while you have the gauge cluster out. A nice touch is to replace with LEDs.
6. GO SLOW! as not to crack these pastic parts when removing. Jesus Saves!
