While I'm no expert in the matter, I believe this answer is wrong in several ways, and the true answer to this question is Yes.
First, the guinea pig would on a bad diet, if it ends suffering from high cholesterol. Second, a guinea pig can be put under stress if constantly chased about or frightened by children or other pets. They need a place to hide, a place to rest, and generally want to be left in peace (but well fed). So, I suppose it is possible to put a Guniea pig under stress in this way, and since it is just a mammal with a body functioning, basically, like ours, I assume frequent stress conditions can lead to Heart disease and similar problems, just like it does with humans.
