Can a halls cough drop cause a positive alcohol breath test?

Absolutely, YES!!! It happened to me. I had no idea that a cough drop could do this... Halls cough drops contain 22% alcohol. I have an interlock on my car and was shocked when at 8am i tested positive. I had it in my mouth while I blew.. Unbelievable!!!Of course it showed up on my readings. Now I have to deal with it...
