William T. Cahill (bn June 25, 1912 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; died July 1, 1996 in Haddonfield, New Jersey) succeeded Richard J. Hughes as the forty-sixth Governor of New Jersey, serving between January 20, 1970 and January 15, 1974, including the whole of 1972.
