Do hair relaxers work on beards?

Yes, it will work. I have a very coarse beard and have always wondered this. My beard gets curly in spots when its around 1.5" long and more - i was going to shave it off so i gave this a try. It took a lot of volume out of the beard but definitely straightened all of the hairs. I'd keep it if i didnt have to shave for a work proposal.
