Where to apply the AED pads if there is an injury on that spot?

You would apply the pads as close to that spot as possible. You can even apply one on the back and one on the front if necessary. You just have to make sure the electrical impulse generated by the AED travels through the heart.

Make sure the AED pads don't touch eachother.
