How does culture influence organization structure?

National cultures differ. The way people do business, the way they do things and the things that are value may vary across countries. Just as in some countries, rice is a staple food, in others; potato or wheat or another grain may be a staple. This alone gives different view of what food is.

As such, organisations of different national origin may see different things are being important and this would have impact on business policy, manner of communication, structure and human resource decisions etc. Hence, it is necessary to consider the national origin of the company and the degree its national origin affects its organisational culture when doing business.
