How do you get high fps in call of duty 4?

in the game.. go into options and then graphics. change both specular map and depth of field to "no" and resolution as low as it goes. this should help. also try this. when running the game, hit the Windows button on ur keyboard to bring up ur desktop. press control + alt + delete, and click on processes. right click on "iw3sp(mp).exe" or whatever ur Call of Duty file is named, and change priority to "high" . good luck
