How do you remove the stator wire through the grommet hole on a 2004 Harley Davidson?

Unfortunately the grommet is formed to the wire and does not come off. The leak is a very common problem and most of the newer models have been redesigned because of this problem. A lot of people try fixing it with silicone, and it may last for a season or so. To fix it correctly the stator must be replaced.
