Freshwater snail babies develop and grow in their early stages by hatching from eggs laid by adult snails. The baby snails, called juveniles, start off as tiny versions of the adults and gradually grow in size as they feed on algae and other small organisms in the water. They go through a process called metamorphosis, where they develop their shells and other body parts, eventually reaching adulthood.
