Are Barum tires safe

I believe Barum tires are made either in Russia or in eastern Europe, when the USSR existed, there were serious quality and reliability issues with most of their products, but several years have passed and now these companies compete in the open market, I wouldnt race with them, but for everyday city and highway driving within the speed limits they must be safe. If you want guaranteed performance, durability and safety, go with Pirelli, Goodyear, Metzeler, Dunlop or some high end japanese brand, but these tires are quite pricy. Regards
