What engines and transmissions do the Rewaco trikes Use Are they accessible through Honda or vw or anywhere else Thanks for your time d.s.w.?

My wife and I have a 2006 HS6 GT. It has a HD "Big Bore" 95 VTwin. The tranny is a VW 4/1. All Rewaco trannys are VW, I think. Rewaco also uses VW boxer engines, and we have even ridden a Rewaco with a Ford Focus engine. I have not heard of Honda engines being involved. The Harley VTwin is a great choice. Everything pre-2007(HS-models) had the VW swing axle trans, later (FX models) have the VW IRS style trans (with CV shafts), all VW and harley based transaxles are 4 speeds with reverse, gearing depends on engine side. the RF1 models all use a ford 5 speed trans.
