Well honey, if the distance between the moon and Earth suddenly decided to do some solo traveling and increased greatly, we’d have some pretty funky tides going on. The gravitational pull on our oceans would be weak, causing smaller and less frequent tides. And girl, say goodbye to werewolves because their lunar behavior would be all out of whack.
